What happens in a first session?
The first session usually focuses on getting to know each other, understanding your goals, current challenges, and what safety and support look like for you. No deep trauma processing is required.
What happens in a typical holistic counselling session?
Sessions usually involve open conversation about current challenges and life patterns. Sessions may also include guided reflection, mindfulness exercises, breathing techniques, or gentle body awareness practices. The pace and methods are typically tailored to the individual.
What kinds of trauma do you work with?
I support individuals healing from childhood and developmental trauma, complex trauma, single-incident trauma, medical or birth trauma, relationship trauma, and chronic stress patterns stored in the nervous system.
Do I have to talk about what happened in detail?
No. Trauma healing does not require retelling or reliving events. You share only what you are comfortable with. The work often focuses on present-moment safety, body awareness, and nervous system regulation rather than recounting the past.
What is the cost of a session?
All new clients are eligible for a one off free 1/2 hour Discovery session to see if we are a good fit. From there pricing is as follows:
1 hour Holistic Counselling, $120 per session
Adult 10 Session Nervous System Reset, $120 per session ($100 per session if paid up front & in full)
Teen Girls 10 Session Self & Soul Program, $50 per session ($40 per session if paid up front & in full)
I offer Telehealth sessions - Australia wide, and In-Person, Walk and Talk, Nature based sessions - Bridgetown WA.
What qualifications do you have?
I am a Certified Holistic Counsellor, Certified Trauma Practitioner, and Certified Somatic Coach. I am also currently working towards gaining my Triple Certification as a Soulful Coach and Breathwork Facilitator.
How do I know if this approach is right for me?
This approach tends to suit people who want gentle, respectful work that honours their pace and integrates emotional, spiritual and the physical experience.
What changes do clients usually notice?
Common shifts include feeling more grounded, less reactive, more emotionally present, and better able to respond rather than react in stressful situations.
How will I know it’s working?
Progress is often reflected in everyday life through improved regulation, clearer boundaries, increased self-trust, and a greater sense of internal safety.
How long does trauma healing take?
There is no fixed timeline. I work with you at your pace. Progress depends on factors such as the type of trauma, current stress levels, and available support. Many clients notice increased regulation and emotional steadiness before deeper layers of healing unfold.
Who do you work with?
I work with anyone from the age of 13 yrs and over. I also intentionally choose to keep my client profile small to ensure each of my clients receives my full presence and complete support, including in-between sessions. When we work together, I am 100 per cent devoted to you and your therapeutic journey.
